I took the opposite approach. I have Thanksgiving dinner with friends that don’t have any taboo subjects. We talk about anything and everything and disagreements/opinions are respected. Otherwise, I’d just stay home and cook for myself while watching movies.
I’m gonna call that Sam Neill’s character is still alive as well. Mainly cause I can’t see them killing off a major actor (almost everyone else is a relative newcomer) that soon in a series. If for nothing else, budget reasons.
