"fraud" and "scam" are such ugly words. However, all doubts and fears about this company could be removed with a simple demonstration of the technology. Their CEO is obviously an "idea man" and not an implementer. Let the techies give a demo. If the technology hasn't yet been built, say so.

@Jonne Backhaus: The issue is "impedance", not insulation. Impedance depends to some extent on the type and uniformity of cable construction. But, you're right, the cheap cables may not have as good impedance control as the expensive ones. Or, they may be just fine.
