You know, I get where you’re coming from. My mother was VERY religious, got her masters’ in divinity, and even she would say that being religious during times like this is just rude.

I had a hard time with her too. Every time I saw her i’d be surprised, like “oh, she’s still on here?” and I kept expecting her to be written off. And then she kinda became like the curtains that never get changed - you start to work around them.

As much as I can’t stand most of the characters and think the plot is wearing pretty thin, I really appreciate the emphasis on the characters’ difference in perception of a (same) scene. Though -I feel like i’d better appreciate this story in book form - the concept of exploring the same scenario from multiple angles…
