It’s a fairly basic design. Aerodynamic and without too much visual clutter. Most auto makers, especially the Japanese, are in the thralls of a bizarre trend towards cartoonishly angular and busy design. That’s part of the reason I’ve gravitated away from Hondas and Toyotas and become a Mazda fan.

You say “Si coupe with a manual” as if it were possible to get tone with an automatic. All 8th and 9th gen Civic Si’s came with a 6-speed manual in the US. Anyway, they are indeed great looking cars, even the sedans. I wasn’t a fan of the wacky dashboard at first, but it’s grown on me.
