I am. I really liked the first one. Avatar? I guess so maybe perhaps kinda.

I wonder if the Spider-Man poster was used as a placeholder back when Sony and Marvel had their negotiating fiasco. Theoretically, they could bring back Tobey Maguire or even Andrew Garfield (or both if they want to go full mulitverse). I just hope it’s better than Venom so we’re not forced to watch Tom Holland’s

Oh boy its gonna be Dark Trek with Picard ,just what we wanted ....NOT !

Yeah I was going to say, “making a ton of money while a lot of people spent a decade talking about how it didn’t have any cultural impact” sort of IS it’s cultural impact at this point. If I had a dollar for every time I’d seen that take (which, to be fair, is not incorrect) I’d be able to retire.

I am sure that genre fans have not forgotten that it is quite fashionable to hate on this perfectly fine movie.

No pork sausage?

I liked Avatar. The whole “Dances with Blue Space Cats” plot isn’t great, but it’s bare-bones enough that I could really enjoy it for both the chemistry between Sully and Neytiri, as well as Sully’s changing emotions and experience as his “Na’vi” experience becomes the reality to him. And of course visually it was

Even ignoring Anakin going all ape shit, the Jedi themselves separate kids from their parents the moment they can walk, isolate them from their family for the rest of their lives, and teach them not to feel love or affection for them ever again. The Jedi are horrifying all on their own.

I don’t think anyone is pretending all complaints are racially motivated. There can be legitimate complaints. The problem is the people who claim they are part of a fandom but really have no affiliation complaining about pushing a “PC agenda”. Same can be said for "fans" complaining about Jodie Whittaker in Doctor

On the other hand, we really do need to kill tipping culture. It IS ridiculous that server A makes $2 bucks for pouring a $10 shot while server B makes $50 doing the exact same work pouring a $250 shot.

Since the whole point of spending $250 on a shot of scotch is telling people that you spent $250 on a shot of scotch, go ahead and treat yourself and truthfully tell people that you spent $300 on a shot of scotch.

Just going to leave this here since y’all left her out of your last Star Wars article for some reason, and this badass woman deserves to be seen.

I have no idea how I feel about what I’ve seen of this movie yet. My emotions are so all over the place. Which is weird for me, because as a fan, I seem to be one of few who can enjoy any part of Star Wars while still recognizing the flaws, or at least what I perceive as flaws, in each piece of the puzzle.

I will believe in both santa and jesus if that happens.

Logan outside the top five and the best MCU film in The Winter Soldier only at honourable mention. Ya... I’ll stick with I respectfully disagree with a large amount of this list. But hey, subjective  exercise is subjective.

Weird, I had absolutely no problems doing any of this on launch day. I waited until 6pm Pacific time but I was able to: sign up, install the Roku app, change my password, create multiple profiles, edit those profiles, find and add content to a watchlist, and watch things without any problems. I don’t have particularly

*raises hand*  I do.  Usually with Oreos.  Hell, sometimes I drink straight from the jug because I get a craving.

Johnson labored under the incorrect and arrogant delusion that there was something about Star Wars that needed fixing.

I’ve also been a Star Wars fan all my life and I love TLJ so I dunno why you think Johnson was raising a middle finger to us.

Damn. GoT was incredible from beginning to end. Honestly fuck all the hate these guys get for creating one of the most iconic television shows in the last two decades. Ya’ll ate that shit up week after week, then when they decide to finally end the show after a decade, you’re mad it didn’t wrap up in the way you
