The movie didn’t blow me away.

Did we watch the same movie? I mean, it wasn’t perfect but the last act was pretty solid and there’s really nothing about incels in it. It’s less about “women owe me something” and more a generic “the system sucks.”

I continue to believe that Rey’s parentage is the least important and least interesting part of her character and was perfectly content to learn in the last movie that they were just some randos on Jakku.

In the same boat, SG:U canceled just as it was finding its feet. So much more potential... but I think SG:1 and SG:A outstayed their welcomes and that tarnished tolerance for some of SG:U’s early stumbles.

This series was by far my favorite Stargate series. 

The weird thing is for whatever reason I watched that show first before SG1 or Atlantis and loved it. Yes it was closer to BSG than SG1 in terms of tone, but it was really cool and interesting to watch them science stuff up to keep Destiny running.
