I’m not complaining; it has just informed me as to what to expect from Chrysler products - that every fucking thing on it will break all the time. This “free car” has cost me more than $10k over the last 2 years.

Yeah I guess I’m extrapolating from my 2005 Liberty (which admittedly is not a K-car), which I got for free and has been an absolute money-pit...

Ehhhhh I mean, come on. You’re going to be replacing the catalytic converters, radiator, thermostat housing, belts, starter, suspension parts, rack and pinion, like literally everything on this car is going to break all the time.

I’ve had no reliability issues with mine. The power delivery is really good and the transmission is very smooth.

Yeah the new Pilot is actually nice to look at, like all of the new Hondas.

The Traverse is good. I haven’t driven the new Pilot but I sat in it at the NY auto show and I would definitely still choose the Traverse over it. The seats are way more comfortable and the layout is a lot more user-friendly than the wacky UI in the Pilot. The one knock on the Traverse is the suspension is tuned much

Mexico is part of North America, buddy, so it would qualify for the full $7,500.

It’s mainly on like picking up and dropping kids off at daycare. You just get clobbered on gas mileage in a big crossover in local driving.

Man with the lease deals that all of the manufacturers are now offering on EVs the market for them is going to explode. Toyota can say whatever it wants, but not having to drop $75 at a gas station once a week is powerful. Seeing it in your electric bill once a month is a whole lot different, especially when many

200,000 mile 20 year old Porsche? GTFO. I’d take it for $7,500 which is a premium on some bullshit car that’s just going to be perpetually falling apart only because it’s a Porsche. Otherwise, like wtf.

Seems like a more fitting comp would be the BMW M235i XDrive Gran Coupe word salad. But yeah, that’s the real comp, not the M3 or even the M340i.

SMG is technically a manual... It’s the same transmission as in the manual.

It’s the manual transmission, but the clutch is operated by a computer, and you can only shift sequentially. Reading more about it, it looks like it’s single clutch and the dual clutches weren’t available until 2008, with one clutch operating the even gears and one operating the odd gears.

Yeah that’s the dual clutch SMG thing, not a real stick shift.

Tough call, but I hate the way the front end looks, the lowered suspension probably makes the thing ride like shit, and you know it’s going to need a new clutch and whatever else.

You gotta change your name to A.J. after you buy it. Just don’t park it on top of a big pile of leaves for a makeout sesh.

When batteries are cheap, plug-in hybrids make no sense. When they are expensive they make more sense.

Yeah I can see that - wow

Yo the Accord and Charger do not look alike at all. That’s crazy to me that anyone would say that. Like get your eyes checked.

Yeah it looks more like a Dali/Bangle version of a Ford 500
