Yeah just ask 3 Michelin star chef Eric Ripert whose kitchens use... magnetic induction... wait, what?

Get ready for all the shills in the comments.

Yeah the last time American lost one of my bags it was kind of an odyssey to get it back. Then some poor bastard shows up at my door at 2 in the morning in the rain driving his personal vehicle and I put it all together. I wound up going from mystified to giving the poor fellow a 20 for his troubles.

Because it’s like a sub-uber-level private contractor who’s just bringing the bags home as he waits to be told where to deliver them

It’s because of the way the system works. The airlines contract with a broker who gets like random contractors to deliver bags. It’s really shitty but the broker probably bid on the annual contract with United, and then went with like Grubhub delivery-style independent contractors to personally bring the bags to

12-5 for that piece of shit. Jesus

Ha ok pal

In terms of like gas pedal and steering wheel feel, as well as overall size, the Traverse is the best. The seats are mediocre, though. The Korean cars easily have the most comfortable seats and the nicest looking interiors in the segment.

That is straight up not true. Tahoe is way bigger. I know what the total passenger volume numbers say, but if you dig into those numbers, they don’t add up (like look at all the dimensions…) and if you sit in both, they’re really not comparable. Tahoe is full ass size. Even the traverse is bigger than the Telluride.

I agree and I liked the Sienna best of all, but the wife wouldn’t consider a minivan. To be fair, though, the Traverse basically is a minivan with regular doors

It’s nice to have jumpseats if you really need them, but yeah, having a full size 3rd row is way better. I have a Traverse and my Dad has an X7- the Traverse has a noticeably roomier 3rd row.

Yeah, but even if you have one kid and you want to go somewhere with like their grandparents or another family, or if you are driving that kids friends around, you wind up needing the extra seats.

What demo are they targeting with this, though? Single people? Most people with kids or grandkids (who are the people that can afford this car) are gonna want a 7 seater if they’re laying out $100k+

Model X seats 7 though, right? That is a pretty big difference. Model Y is significantly cheaper and probably a more apt comparison. I know the iX is roughly Model X-sized and physically bigger than the Model Y, but the additional seating is a big deal for many.

That was the sense I got from the scene. It was definitely not shown on camera, but it doesn’t make any sense otherwise.

That thing looks mega dumb

Do they? How?

Ugh whatever. That scene was gratuitous, and frankly they should have had some kind of warning for people who are pregnant. Having an 8 week old newborn myself, parts of this season have seemed pretty damned unnecessary.

whatever man

lol man, I don’t object to “middle class dining.” I just don’t like big chains that are all the same everywhere. There’s no like love behind the food. It’s just some part of some amoeba trying to grow and keep their margins low to please their shareholders. There are plenty of good, honest, inexpensive restaurants
