We have several other cars. But none of them are as fun to drive. Why not get something everyone can experience together?

Never lived in NYC, but I did live in DC. You can't drive 6 miles in DC in 24 minutes, unless it's Sunday at 7am. Is this the city, or the metro area?
But the semi did move over. Just too far.
I’d like to trade my rx7 for one of these, since 2 seats don't fit the 5 people in my family, but there aren't any. Or, the dealer that has one wants the rx7 +$30k. I hope more of them makes this shit go away.
Several octaves deeper? That’s really a lot. She talks like Darth Vader or something?
Firefox content blocking. Not seeing embedded tweets makes life better.
I haven’t played this game, but are those numbers significant? Like how many points does a winner usually have, 50,000, or 95? Those numbers by themselves mean nothing without scale. Just like the distance from earth to the sun is 1.
Nah. In NM, you pay 4% sales for first registration, then a yearly fee. I think for my GLS it was something like $70/year for 2 years. For an 8 year old jeep more like $50.
With Tappen being a reference to a people, as best I can tell, isn’t the problem not necessary as phrased “naming things after people”, but more “naming things after [a] person”?
The airport was renamed because of his war on the FAA. Don't shortchange the asshole here.
I know this is a slippery slope legal argument, but I’d be much more concerned practically. As a Black woman in that photograph, I wouldn’t be entirely shocked to find out some forced birther “freed” the unborn child in a horrifying way, leaving the mother bleeding on the floor sliced open.
Well, she's Black, so at least in this case, the answer is easy.
I hate saying it, but I think she’s on to something here. In typical Republican fashion, she’s pointing the wrong way, though. We should have competency tests for all VOTERS over 75, to prove they know all the positions of the people they’re voting for. Who keeps putting these old dingbats in public office?
Not all Republicans! I’m fairly confident that Liz Cheney, Adam kinzinger (sic), and Ben sasse would vote for themselves, while Romney would vote for Colin Powell or John McCain (deceased).
The only problem I have with a walkable community is that it allows (in my experience having lived in cities around the US) for BAD bars and restaurants to thrive, simply because of location. Not every city can be as dense as NYC or SF to have enough to weed out the bad ones. So if a shitty bar opens nearby, you might…
But you have to live in Florida. I’d rather pay some taxes and live in a place that isn’t a shithole. But you do you.

It’s not volts you charge, it’s watts. A 350kwh charger (level 3) is what you’d be looking for. I don't have an ev, so I just used Google, and if this is real, there are a good number of them at least in the Denver metro area.
But is it certified organic? If not, I'll still put a deposit, but only to flip it, obviously. I have standards for my personal vehicles.
But 18 minutes isn’t 5 minutes ad 10-80% isn’t “a full charge” and 300 miles of range isn’t while towing my boat with 7 people and it’s not less than $30,000 like a vehicle should be. So I guess I’m out until the next one, with all the rest of the commenters.
