It was more like a dud cyclone. It started with rain (icy roads this morning) and started to come down hard for a couple of hours and a few inches of snow accumulated. It was supposed to go through the night with possible 8" accumulating. But at 3pm it just.....sopped.

Please find me any reference to “bomb” cyclones before 1997.  And one that does not include Weather Clickbait Underground.  I was an FAA weather briefer for 12 years in the 80's-90's.  The term was never used.

Now that we’ve exhausted all possible clicks we can squeeze from “bomb cyclone”, let me remind you that this is what Colorado looks like less than 24 hours later...roads are fine, it’s sunny, we’re all fine...

Maybe also reconsider who you vote for in future local, state, and national elections as well. Hopefully we won’t have a repeat shutdown over nonsense like this again.

If that tiny minority is negatively affecting everyone else by sucking up and hoarding all the money while buying off politicians to break down rights the rest of us have spent decades trying to earn then I see no issue with it. 

As a high-earning wage slave who has almost always voted Republican, i’m all for it.

Honestly this policy is a no-brainer. It impacts so few voters yet brings in millions of dollars. The only reason it doesn’t get traction with voters is that we Americans are easily confused by percentages (which, ironically, we could correct in future generations with the additional monies).
