So how do we tell if all the comments saying “well this is actually good for astronomers” are just Musk fanboys repeating the SpaceX talking points, or a legitimate defense of what they claim will only be a temporary inconvenience?
My only problem with this approach is not being able to distinguish between friendly bees and asshole hornets when you start seeing flying things nesting in the leaf pile on the fence line. (Yes, this is from personal experience.)
What are those key things for you? I played Red all the way through the Elite Four, and I bought an Advance just to play Ruby but the new game didn’t do much for me. I remember nothing about the plot and the only reason I remember the pokemon in the game is because Go came out and reminded me how silly some of them…
The McDonald’s by me has the same layout, so people drive through the other way to cut other people off in the drive-thru lane. I had a woman in a BRAND NEW GX460 try to ram me to cut me off. I’m like, bitch, you wanna wreck your car for a breakfast burrito?
I got one year free with my new iPhone. I will probably check out the first episode of the Jen Anniston series and the forget about it entirely until they start sending me bills next November.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t get an ad when I signed up a couple weeks ago.
“The rest of this article seems like yet another complaint about superhero adaptations being more serious than a saturday morning cartoon”
I think it looks a little bit like an erect penis, though I feel sorry for anyone with those proportions.
Tons of “flyover” states are this way, but I doubt they were truly 12-13. The age is usually 14 (Google says this is true for Utah), and the only other restrictions are: no overtime, no unusually dangerous work (defined in regulations), and no night shifts. It’s not because they are “adults,” it is because fields…
I grew up in a mild protestant faith (like, very mild). When I was about 10, our neighbor, who was two years younger than me and went to a “Bible church,” came over and made “swear my heart to Christ” or we couldn’t be friends any more.
I’m 100% sure he is doing that for the sake of art, not exposure.
Cigarettes kill 1,315 Americans every day. Massachusetts has fewer than 50 confirmed EVALI cases and a single confirmed death, but banned vaping products until January; Wal-Mart stopped selling vaping products entirely.
I started watching this show after seeing it mentioned on io9 so many times - I’m really digging it! I just finished the snow castle episode and am pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable the show is. I think a huge part of that is: every character, including Catra and Scorpia, is treated like a whole person, with…
That keyboard is a nightmare. Why include a numeric keypad if you don’t also include the plus and enter keys where they are supposed to go for the only people who actually use a ten-key on a regular basis? And couldn’t they have chosen ANY other key to cut in half for the fingerprint scanner, like, I don’t know, Caps…
I’ve been here for five years and am only out of the greys on one sub-blog (the restaurant one, because I used to be a waiter). Meanwhile outright trolls are constantly pulled out, kinja is getting buggier, and the venture capitalist owners are squeezing page views for everything they’re worth.
now I’m imagining a crossover between Riverdale and Legends of Tomorrow.
Except that the station was orbiting the moon, and even if it was really massive, it shouldn’t have left orbit when it was “destroyed.” Anything forceful enough to break orbit would have utterly destroyed things like the throne room, which was perched at the top of a large tower.
That was going to be my story, too! I don’t even think I knew anyone with broadband back then. I spent at least 3 hours downloading that trailer.
Probably because it is way too heavy for daily use for most people who would use it daily, and Hasbro has attorneys smart enough not to let them open that door of liability.
