Did you see Sam Bee’s piece on how poor women have trouble affording diapers for their kids? And how Republicans think these women shouldn’t be able to pay for diapers with food stamps? And if you can’t afford to buy diapers, you probably should have thought about that before you went and got yourself pregnant, slut?

I’m so glad they’ve tapped into my subconscious! As a Mexican woman, I never thought about this, but this is probably why I married a non-Hispanic. If Baby Bong comes out brown - hell, even taupe- I’m going to lose my shit.

So suddenly they “care” about people of color?? Lol ‘kay.

“Between 40 and 50 percent of all African-American babies are killed before they’re born. A Hispanic child is three times more likely to be aborted than a white child.”

I want to run for Congress, win and draft a bill to make it legal for American citizens to punch these guys in the dick.

“but I have spent my entire life fighting to defend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.”

something vile did happen.

#DonaldTrump needs to understand that women who have had#abortions are already in a prison of guilt and shame.

Female ex-GOP here. When it’s how your entire worldview is informed from birth, “brain damaged” maybe isn’t quite as accurate as “brainwashed”.

And yet, there are still Republican women. How brain damaged do you have to be to be part of an organization/movement that doesn’t view you as a fully realized human?

I was just discussing laws like this with my physician yesterday, mid-annual check up. I was saying how ridiculous it is to have people who clearly know nothing about reproduction much less medical science writing laws about women’s health, referring to Indiana (and sigh, now Utah). She was all “I know, AND don’t they

because knocking people unconscious for no reason is dangerous

Seeing that part about him coming from a broken poor family really pissed me off. As if that is some sort of explanation or justification for raping someone? Surprisingly, I also come from a broken home and poorly family, and I have never raped anyone. Astonishing, I know.

It’s so, so paternalistic for men to tell women that they can’t have the choice to end a pregnancy because they might regret it. Don’t just control our bodies, feel free to pop into our heads and predict our thoughts!

This clip needs to be mandatory for every legislator to watch before passing more abortion restriction laws. Like women having to look at their ultrasounds

Wait- you’re saying Obama is the one being “deliberately disingenuous” here? He’s the only adult in the fucking room, dude.

I’m the cook in the family too. My son is interested in cooking as well.

I LOVE how people just casually suggest that working from home is equivalent to maternity leave, like it’s so easy to work while caring for a newborn. The first three months with my second born were so intense that taking a shower felt like a major accomplishment.

I carry mine, everywhere I go.

For the vast majority of human history, the 17 year old girls in question were treated as property being bartered with. I’d guess that nobody asked them what they thought about it so your contention as to how that practice was considered is probably based on incomplete data.
