This is precisely the problem. They are running pell-mell into S3 assuming people have just watched S2, with zero reminders or recaps or even contextual dialogue. It’s bad showrunning and pretty terrible writing.

They’re doing a terrible job of re-introducing characters - outside of the leads, nearly every show does a little work to reestablish who people are and why they’re doing what they’re doing - and out of the gate S3 thrown characters into scenes without any larger context.
