I do get the appeal of a DGAF car. If Nest doesn’t have internet access, it just functions as a basic learning thermostat. Not sure why it wouldn’t work if Google is having issues. Also never heard of light bulbs not working. All my smart bulbs default to on if you turn the power source off than on again. So it functions like...a light bulb. 

I looked up the case, since I’d never heard of it before. Yes, he got sentenced to life for stealing hedgeclippers... While breaking and entering, having already been jailed for doing the same thing before, and not even having been released for a year. These, of course, come after the armed robbery, theft and fraud…
