I believe you can also hit the stalk in the same direction to cancel. That way you don’t go left-right-left trying to turn the damn thing off.

People have issues with 3 blink turn signals? I only wish the manufacturers would let you adjust it to 4 or 5 blinks through the car’s on-board displays. You can adjust some of the Audi/VWs using a factory or aftermarket diagnostic tool to configure it for a 4 or 5 blink.
You may actually be right. I can’t find any reference to a manual one. This one definitely was but it could have just been a C/K that was gussied up that came with a manual. It had a 454 and all the appearance stuff. The dealer was sort of a boutique dealer so it wouldn’t surprise me if it wasn’t someone’s pet before…

You know, for the life of me, I don’t understand why the Fox Mustangs get all the love over the 3rd gen Camaros. I think they look fantastic.
I’ve been looking at Explorer Sport-Trac’s .... holy crap they’re high
When i was about 8 years old, my family had this huge vacation trip planned, and since my aunt/uncle was sleeping in my bed room I slept in the built out attic. I woke up to find that they had left me, which honestly wasn’t so bad, I had a bit of a party. Though these 2 guys tried to break into the house, and since I…
I remember this horrible Thanksgiving back in the late-80s when I was trying to get home to Chicago from a meeting in NYC. The trip ended up taking three days due to a litany of problems: weather cancelled my flight, my train broke down, and my rental car was impounded by the cops after it caught fire. Ended up…
0-60 might have been slow, but 0-50 was not that bad, and only made the car scared to merge on highways when uphill and semis are tailgating each other. Once you got used to running thru the gears, this car can become almost fun. Plus , the shifter has a much better feel to it, than a rabbit.
What I want are heated seats that can make my butt warm, but that also are ventilated to keep it from getting sweaty.
My MIL’s Taurus has them. Very very weird at first, but after a couple of minutes they felt awesome. On hot, bright summer days even with the AC on in my car I end up with a sweaty back. Cooling from the seat itself would be wonderful.
I hear you, that’s pretty sad for ‘92. My mom’s ‘82 Buick had the same glove box, so you’re right, they carried on way too long with that sad business.
People in jersy aren’t tipping at sonic? That ain’t right.
Those glovebox indents were a hold over from drive in’s You used them to have a flat surface to put your drink down. It was an only use when parked thing. At some point they kept making them when everyone forgot what the hell they were for.
Those are for eating in your stationary car. A slightly different idea than driving around with a soft drink. I would hope nobody tried that.
HEHE my ‘84 W201 D had the same “cup holders” cracked me up...
Yes, they have an electric condenser fan mounted to the radiator, which worked perfectly well on its own. Until it itself locked up and needed to be replaced, because BMW.
Yes, surprisingly for as fickle as the cooling was, it did just fine without the mechanical fan, even in SoCal heat and traffic. The electrical fan worked just fine (until it burned out).
Who the hell at GM decided that using the reverse lights as approach lamps was a good idea?
