Yeah, I know that’s what Caddy intended with them. Just pointing out that on that car, one built in 1992, those were the only things close to being a cupholder present.

I know people used to use it as a food tray at drive in restaurants, yes. On the ‘92 Eldorado, those were the only 2 things in the car that resembled cup holders. My guess is Cadillac had a pile of a million glove box doors left over from the 70’s that they wanted to use up.
The E36 uses the condenser fan as a backup to the mechanical fan, correct?
At least those will hold a cup at some point before they break. Here is the Cadillac Eldorado Cup Holder (couldn’t find a real world picture, but my dad had a ‘92 and this is 100% true):
Definitely does if it’s using “well used” fryer oil. Worked in a seafood restaurant for 6 years, that stuff was rank.
It might be some sort of in line electric heater? That’s my only thinking, seeing the hose connection on the bottom and the wiring run towards the top.
Seems like the fryer oil conversion is only worth it if you work in/own a restaurant. I thought about possibly doing a fryer oil burner back when I worked in a seafood restaurant, but we weren’t big enough for me to keep my tank full. I would have had to get the waste oil from at least 1 other restaurant in the strip…
Yeah I’m hoping that the rear door folds down as a ramp and not up like a garage door. Not sure if it’d be strong enough to load a car, but a couple of motorcycles should be easy.
If I was in the market for a $35k motorhome, this would definitely be right up my alley. My only question is about the garage, whether or not you could legitimately load a car into it. Can’t tell from the Craigslist pictures, but who am I kidding, I’ll just load my motorcycles up with a ramp and tow a car behind it on…
Ahh, should have clarified, HPS pads.
Thanks, I’ll give it a shot and see how it works.
Awesome, thanks. I did a good bedding of them when I first installed, I’ll give that a shot after I get the master cylinder sorted out. Clutch pedal stopped returning all the way, still operates just won’t come back up every time. Slave was recently replaced and I’m not losing fluid, so the master is the suspect right…
I put Hawk pads in my E34. Question - Do your brakes make a slight squeal/squeak when you stop? Mine make some noise, but only at the very end of braking, right before the car comes to a complete stop. It only happens under light braking, heavy braking makes no sound. I did use the lubricant provided for the pad…
Awesome, I’ve got an ‘80 Z28 currently waiting for an LS1/T56 swap. Hoping that some day down the road I’ll be able to do a similar swap into an IROC.
Yeah no reason to fuck with a nice aluminum panel.
Haven’t seen that one out in the wild yet. The “EATING FORDS SHITTING CHEVYS” has been spotted a few times in my local Home Depot parking lot.
First time I saw that movie, when Farva pumps the gas into the trash to get the free hot dog, I knew I had found my idol.
One can only hope they are using a fake rust vinyl wrap. Because if they are intentionally rusting it, there’s not enough brain cells left for them to safely operate a motor vehicle.
I don’t have much of a preference, to me it just seems like the notchbacks are rarer and have a “sleeper” look, so most 5.0 fans love the shit out of them.
Never noticed the “distressed” look at Barclays, although I’ve never seen an aerial shot of it before. I just don’t get why this is a thing.
