I think stacks actually have a purpose if a Turbo is involved, there is a whole lot less back pressure.

The thing is, compared to a car in it's class 20 years ago, the Spark would be huge and heavy. Look at cars over the years each time a new safety regulation is made, and watch them grow.

As far as I know the 12v was American made, they didn't swap over to Mexican production until the 24v.

They might not make the cars like they used to, but their performance base is far from unsupportive. Think of all the enthusiast cars that use an SBC or LS motor.

As an owner of a second gen like this, easy. It's about as reliable as a mid 90's LR, gets the same MPG, and slower. Plus it's designed for very short people interior wise. Offroad capabilities are good, but not great compared to the gen before and after.

My 95 Slowrunner has that switch, it actually does something. That 3.0 power band is such a bad joke. It has no power below 3k rpms, but burns gas like you set it on fire above that.
