If you don’t think that almost every time a male celebrity (and sometimes female celebrity) has spoken up about this, whether eloquently or not, they aren’t absolutely criticized and demolished in tons of articles on sites like these, despite their intentions or message, I have no idea what world you’re living in.

So guys speak up and they get attacked as either being hypocrites or phrasing what they say wrong in some way. Everywhere you look people are telling guys to not speak about this because it’s not “their turn” and if guys want to be allies, they have to shut up and be supportive and not own this problem, because this

“most of those types of people like to project their fantasies on to paper or even film so they can live out their sick desires while feeling a sense of detachment and safety from being unveiled as a defective freak”

Sorry, no. The idea that weird or messy or perverse or creepy art is inherently wrong and should be shamed or “means the artist is a creep” is a dangerous idea and nothing good can come of it.

Prince, I’m so with you on this. I can’t call myself a liberal either because I absolutely hate the behavior of so many liberals these days. I don’t know what I am anymore. This article isn’t the worst offender but it still bothered me, because it’s part of this creepy trend of assuming context in art and prudishness

1) He didn’t put these out into the world

Emma, I wrote a song once about keeping a dead body in my trunk. I once wrote lyrics inspired by two douchebags I overheard on a bus talking about women like they were property. The song was in character and satirizing them. I also wrote a song about a guy being mean to his girlfriend based on something I overheard on

Isn’t Karma Police exactly like Sexy Sadie? Or is this another thing they admitted to so it’s cool.

It says “First American woman” like 800 times in the movie.

Oh god I so agree with this. I think in general on the internet way too much attention is paid to what trolls and morons say. Just ignore them and do good work!

I can’t even imagine the kind of person that would want to watch this stuff.

There are other reviewers that seem fine with this episode.

Warning: superficial response to your superficial note:

If everyone just fucking unfollowed Trump, it may be possible. I can’t understand why no one has tried this. Just unfollow him. It could happen in the millions and send a clear message. Just do it.

This is something I still can’t get over, and I’m still just absolutely shocked Zack gives this a pass. It’s baffling to me, I’d call some sort of conspiracy of Fox paying reviewers to go light on it if I was a Mulder-type nut, but I’m not.

Same guy as who? Jesus christ, I didn’t even get a look at him because the editing was so fucking psychotic.

Haha

This is veering towards the weird creepy thought police kind of stuff rather than an actual article about Woody Allen assaulting someone. I don’t like Allen and at this point I believe him to be guilty, but what is the value here?

Don’t you dare touch my beloved Twin Peaks.

They went into detail with the JFK thing before, so that wasn’t an issue for me. I just don’t know why they aren’t considering more artistic approaches to this material. I’m not trying to toot my own horn, but I really think my idea for the cold open would have been so much better, damn it.
