The HBCU Pride Nation Twitter account is funny as all get out.

What’s surprising to me is how WELL Ford did with the Bronco and how POORLY Chevy did on the updated Blazer:

It’s always the answer: the NA Miata. Not the most recent example - but they nailed the look, feel and sound of the Lotus Elan. My understanding is that the Mazda engineers benchmarked a specific Elan and then designed a new car from the ground up to be the ‘new Elan’ - right down to ensure that the exhaust note was

No... this is an example of them NOT getting it right.

Not just that. Even within each class, the target fuel economy is dramatically affected by the total footprint of the wheelbase. A couple inches longer and wider means significantly lower required fuel economy:

Blame the EPA for that one. The fuel economy standards encourage manufacturers to make larger and larger vehicles so that they can hit lower and lower fuel economy targets.

As much as I love driving, I also love walking or biking around down-town. Not only do we need pedestrian/cycling-focused changes, we also need to start re-testing those of us behind the wheel on a regular basis, and those tests need to be more difficult that going down the block and doing a 3-point u-turn.

Or how dare a person outside the car not follow the very basic instructions instilled upon us since we first learned how to walk on our own; ‘Look both ways before you cross the street’, ‘ensure the driver sees you and is stopping before crossing’. A very simple solution is to just put a stop signs at all unprotected

We had a little laugh last week… a friend visited from the southern US, driving all the way up here to Ontario. Their drive was comfy, since they own one of the gigantic three row Suburban clones. Once they got here, they were greeted with a town employing many traffic calming measures, one of which was bollards to

I didn’t think there could be a dumber comment than the one you’re replying to, and yet, kudos moron

Good thing you got it screenshotted, I’m guessing the new images will be a bit blurry.

Miata RF

You guys are missing the point. The correct answer is a Euro-import 1990/1991 Audi Ur-Quattro with the 20v RR engine. It’s a classic, only came with a manual, has lots of room, very quick for the time (get it chipped & tuned to 300+ HP), AWD, and it’s a true, understated sports car for the discerning driver. As long

Ctrl-V nearly the entire Mazda lineup from the last ~8 years. Mazda3, Mazda6, CX-9, CX-5, Miata, CX-50, CX-30, CX-90. You could exclude the CX-3 and 3 hatchback, but even they look pretty good from most angles. The MX-30...lets just ignore that one for now.

Put up your own NGO and then hit up Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings, the dealership which outfits these for various NGOs around the globe.

Look I prefer any two-tone over none at all, but FFS, have the break either be right at the bottom or top of the pillar. How do you not just have the black portion run in line with the upper window trim instead of 4" below it?

A typo on the state is a mistake. Seeing “no information” and jumping directly to “it must be stolen” is a choice to escalate the situation to a level that isn’t appropriate.

From what I recall in another article, he ran the plate and it didn’t even come up as stolen, it came up as invalid, likely because the states use a different numbering format.  So it comes up as invalid and he jumps to the “it must be stolen” mode.
