The difference is caused by viewing angles.... there is still a thin piece of plastic film on top of the OLED panel itself (for protection) and it will cause distortion and discoloration at different angles.

The problem with above ground is what are you going to do about every street intersection every 100 feet? Below ground, you dont have to disrupt traffic and buildings/trees.
