If you also just want to buy store bought mashed potatoes, I’d recommend Bob Evans. Obviously homemade mashed potatoes are the best, but if you’re feeling lazy, theirs are easy to heat up and surprisingly good, all things considered.

I have to whole heartedly disagree with buying mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. they are both super basic to make at home, cost next to nothing, and taste way better than anything you can get premade.

The whole 1 in 8 thing is a big headline to toss out there without getting into the meat and potatoes of the study.
