Acting overly confident in your mispronunciation of Aerith’s name, AND pretending that FFVIII is ever actually worth discussing?

That’s two strikes already. Better watch your next answer or the other team can steal the board!

I just love the fact that this article attracted two completely separate comments featuring Gilbert Gottfried GIFs, which is entirely appropriate.

Exactly. Which is why this is the point where we would need a law to force a marketplace like eBay to do the right thing, regardless of the impact on their profits. They obviously will choose profit over all others every time, so this can’t be left up to them.

We already have scalping laws on the books across the US. They just only apply to concert/sports tickets, not electronics or other physical goods. So it’s not like there isn’t already an established precedent for this.

“...that’s not technically breaking any laws.”

The parts that are most noticeable to me are the muscles directly under the chin, along the lymph nodes of the neck. You so rarely see those muscles actually defined in animation, let alone utilized during expressions that WOULD cause them to stick out.

Use an Amiibo card. Easiest way to give any villager the boot.

I... wait... what kind of logic is that? Metroid isn’t a “Metroidvania” game because there... aren’t any Castlevania elements in it? Since when do games have to be influenced by both namesake series in order to be classified under the genre? That has NEVER been a thing.

I mean... other commenters have pointed this out already, but this game really sounds more Zelda-like instead of Metroid-like. To call it the “Best Metroidvania of the year” sounds less like an attack on Dread and more like a simple misunderstanding on the part of the author.

It still makes no sense to me that Prime doesn’t extend its offers to download codes on console as well as PC. If I’m paying that much for Prime, I should be able to get DA:I on PS4 since I don’t have a PC that is gaming-capable.

Don’t worry, the pieces will sink to the basement pretty quickly after it’s built.

Gotta love librarians -- they make “SHHH” happen.

Review: “This game is too long. It feels like it never ends. I’m hoping I beat it soon. Maybe.

Now playing

I read the title of the game and for a second thought this was Antarctic Adventure, a game I vividly remember owning and playing on my family’s Colecovision when I was a kid.

So much in the same way we have retro collectors building entire sets of furniture out of hundreds of Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt NES carts, in the future we’ll see an entire floor tiled with Skyrim discs. “I dare you to try and find two that are alike!”

Comments like this are why it’s a good idea to read old articles.

I believe there’s a law that after achieving a certain level of wealth, you are legally required to be bald. It’s the Supervillain Clause.

I fully, 100% support this shift in attitude. As someone with a full-time job, two comics to produce, and raising a daughter, my gaming time has become extremely limited, so I typically play games now on the Easiest difficulty just to be able to see the entire game. A challenging game can mean a game I simply never

My favorite game is still the one at #3, the XBox version of Spiderman 2, but that’s simply because I haven’t played any of the latest Spidey games. Also because my copy of the game is autographed by Bruce Campbell.

I keep my PS5 vertical and it still doesn’t help. To this day, I still will put a disc in the wrong way before having to eject and flip it.
