Having never played the series, those PS3 Persona deals are calling to me. I played what I think was the original Shin Megami Tensei game ( it had Dante from DMC making a cameo appearance if I recall) and loved it, but for some reason never followed the rest of the series.

I was looking to see if anybody had posted this. This movie is a perfect example of good movie that does not need a sequel in any way.

Sweet! I haven't had Plus for long, but it's already paid for itself 3 times over.

I think the reason for doubting a sequel was more tied up with Square Enix considering the game an overall failure as far as sales were concerned. If I remember correctly, it sold a good two million copies, but SE had expectations of somewhere closer to 5 or 6 million. Games labelled failures rarely see sequels.

Speaking as a non-fan who has a daughter who loves the show, it's, in my opinion, because the show is pretty well written. The characters on the show don't sit around having tea parties, but instead often battle dark forces. Each of the characters is pretty well-defined and everybody is able to find a favorite. The…
