Sounds like a cross between Small Wonder and the AniMatrix episodes "Second Renaissance"

@avclub-42763705844bf5e2af4abd6c898f8dcb:disqus Hey, we were just innocently commiserating over similar experiences that happened to us over 15 years ago.  Leave us alone - the conversation is completely derailed now anyway…

Yeah. But fuck your opinion

Fuck your opinion

Spoilers for bb were on the front page of the daily news the Monday after the episode. So no, fuck your opinion.

Spoilers! You are a stuck up, snarky douchebag

Posting a spoiler warning. Not posting the spoiler in the subject of an article. Not posting the spoiler on the front page of the newspaper. I don't think these are unreasonable to expect.

Man, asshole employees on the loose!

I dunno, I guess it's fiction or something…

The grace period is at least until the DVD set comes out, so the people who like to binge a season at a time (like my parents) won't have the ending (terrible or not) ruined for them.
Unfortunately, and this is the case with Breaking Bad as well as Dexter, people who always watch "day and date" are usually either

wow, you got involved with a power-tripper for sure!  That sucks man, at least you outsmarted him.  And hey, the Dawn remake turned out to be not that bad!

ohhh!!!! You got me there!  He can think about two things at once and I obviously can not!  I am a stupid head for not thinking of all the scientific nuances that may or may not be factual accurate, like the direction debris is floating in space, when the lead character is struggling for her life during one of the

I was referring to Degrassi, a classic Canadian teen drama about High Schoolers.

When this came out I really wanted to see it but was under the age of 17 so was not admitted.  I tried a few different times to get into this film while it was still in theaters, even buying a ticket to Jumanji and trying to sneak in.  Someone who works at the theater caught me and actually forced me to watch Jumanji

I thought the movie was really well made, and I didn't think of any of these while watching it.  For example, what direction the debris was moving?  East to West, West to East?  If that is what you notice, you are not really engaged in the film.
Otherwise, I am a big fan of Degrasse Tyson.

I got to attend the premier of the Secret Life of Walter Mitty.  I had a front row center seat for the show and Ben Stiller introduced the cast which included Adam Scott, Kristin Wiig, and Sean Penn.  a very cool night.
The movie was GREAT!  I really enjoyed it a lot and I hope that other people do as well.

Saw it on (legit) IMAX 3D and was blown away.  I liked it very much and thought Sandra Bullock was excellent.

I could totally see him being either character.  In the case of The Thing, he could still be Jewish.  In the case of Colossus, he could still be Russian.  Personally, the guy seems really cool and has a great attitude about it, they could make it work.  I wouldn't mind seeing him get a chance at one of those

A Heroes for Hire movie with him as Luke Cage would be really cool

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more this appeals to me.
(Amy Poehler as Sue, Ron Swanson as the Thing, and Aziz as Human Torch would be a funny parody as well)  but yeah, I could totally see this.
