JEDI gets a bum rap. It gave us the best space battle until ROGUE ONE, the batshit crazy rescue was some good, old fashioned action and the land battle was “meh” but it worked.

I’m in the middle of reading the DRIZZT books. I reread the original trilogy and I’m on the second now. (I haven’t done the prequels and don’t know if I’m going to.) They’re better than I was expecting. Predictable and tropey, but enjoyable and fun. However, reading this it kinda feels like we’re beating a dead horse…

I know. I loved the series. It wasn’t a perfect comparison but there seemed to be some parallels. (Also the “Gone” novel series and the aforementioned LOTF, so I guess I didn’t have a point.)
