people DO want that stuff though. Why do you think the CS is auto only? Its not cos its faster its cos people dont want to truly engage with their car

I was given a Legacy CVT a couple of years ago when my STI was in the shop. The Legacy is a fine car but that CVT was crap, it just whined and the engine noise was really loud. I think that would be fine on the CVT WRX, but not in a family car like the Legacy. Its certainly possible CVTs have improved since 2016, but

On most Suzukis (well okay, by “most” I mean Suzuki GSXR600s and 750s (not sure about 1000s) and the M50 Boulevard, you have to pull in the clutch lever in order to start it

LOL! I have always felt that automatic mustangs of any kind, and V6 Mustangs were to use the classist and sexist pejorative, “secretary’s cars;” part of my reasoning was that the Mustang (and Camaro and Challenger) were pretty crappy cars apart from their sweet V8 engines and RWD chassis, so why get a V6 Stang when

mind explaining why litespud’s comment was so great?

do you seriously think the kids riding these are going to be the obese ones? Most kids that ride Honda CR50s or whatever are fairly fit - its the ones who only play video games all day that tend to be obese (its also linked with low SES of course)

you realize Scion is dead right? Its not about the brand its about the price and the product

those are cheap compared to e motorcycles

I don’t know where you live, but where are the yuppie types with Harlies??? Certainly there’s richer folk who buy bikes and never ride them, but in all the places I’ve lived in North America, its mostly older blue-collar types who ride Harley Davidsons

is your comment meant to be a parody?

If there was a cure for AIDS, “Big Pharma” would be hawking it so fast your head would spin. “Big Pharma” IS interested in curing you because there will always be more diseases, and this is the major fallacy of this conspiracy theorist argument

I know a guy who has a Type RA. He also has a Ferrari 812 Superfast and bought the STI-RA for when he wants to drive stick. There will be zero overlap b/w this and the RS3 but the rS3 is a completely different sort of car

Thats an absurd conclusion. They are competitive with the GTI and R

also, why do you criticize poor grammar and syntax - are you some sort of psychopath?

Fascinating. I never knew that “complement” could be used as a verb - I always thought it was only a noun. All the car magazines I read growing up apparently incorrectly used “compliment” when they should have used “complement.”

It would be $55-60k at least. Even the next A/GLA/CLA45 might not quite have 400hp

To suggest that the R is a “better” drive is utterly absurd and goes against fan opinion and critical opinion

And the GT3 RS looks more “juvenile” than a 488, whats your point? Comparing the RS3 with the S209 is absurd

In practice, I’ve NEVER gotten my doors blown off by an VAG product of any kind. Also, who cares anyway? Are we living in TFTF now?

A Mustang GT is $10k Cdn more than an STI
