Well... in the West. Asia really has us beat. There’s some awesome instant coffee out there, I’ve had some really great instant in the Philippines and Korea.

Also, getting a new card decreases the average age of your credit accounts. That can negatively impact your score too, especially if you only have one other card.

That’s another thing that’s up for debate. The meta-study they linked to here had some studies saying that non-coffee sources of caffeine worked, and some studies saying that it had to come from coffee.

Same thing with caffeinated/decaf. Some studies say it’s pretty much just the caffeine that helps, other say that it’s other compounds so decaf is still beneficial.
