I’m pretty confident that while the specific shows I consider garbage may not be shared by others, the proportion is probably dead on.

You know, I didn’t think about that, but you raise a really damn good point. Imagine Netflix back in the ‘80s as compared to what cable was offering.
$14 is $14. The cost is $14. Yes, the additional cost is $3, but the cost remains $14, which is a lot on a monthly basis.
Even $6 is a steal. Netflix and Amazon are the only streaming services that offer 4K. It’s clearly a premium. You can’t get it on cable, Hulu, or any other service like CBS’s. I doubt even HBO is doing 4K, though I don’t actually know.
Can we just back up for a second and evaluate your statement?
As an attorney, my best advice to you is find an attorney who isn’t just a volume real estate attorney. Those types of attorneys will charge $300 and they’ll never meet you, they’ll just hand you a bunch of documents at the closing and you’ll sign them. No explanation and you won’t be able to ask intelligent questions…
What are you doing in VR? Most people aren’t reading, they’re doing things like playing games and watching movies.
It’s pretty obvious that National Taco Day should be a Tuesday. If every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday, then the national day celebrating it should clearly be on that day.
Notice where I said “I hate ear buds.” I want a nice pair of over the ear headphones. In my opinion (and that’s all it is, my opinion), ear buds are stupid and useless. I never worry about my over the ear headphones falling out or getting grimey. Plus the sound is 1000x better. Also, they just announced those ear…
A few of us went out lunch today specifically because it was National Taco Day. But, I have to question, why in the hell is it a specific date and not like the first Tuesday of October (or any month).
Wireless headphones, i.e., they connect over bluetooth. However, the battery must charge somehow and I’d prefer they charge using USB-C instead of microUSB.
I agree that once it becomes wireless and has 8K resolution, probably every person will own one.
That’s kind of my feeling as well. I really would only use them when I travel, which is like once every few years. Other than that, I listen to music in my car or I’m at home where I don’t need headphones because I’m an adult and it’s my house.
You’d think, but I’ve been checking for months and there’s nothing. Though, someone below pointed out the Bowers & Wilkins PX which seemed to have come out within the last week or so. They have USB-C, they’re also $400.
Thanks for the quick review. I haven’t actually heard of this company but it certainly merits a further look.
Yes, the resolution is lower on the PSVR but, as someone who owns PSVR, has played on Oculus and Vive extensively and owns a VR company, it does not take away from the experience at all. Plus no godrays on PSVR, which I think actually does detract from Oculus and Vive (not enough to think they’re novelties by any…
What... did I do? Am I so good at trolling I trolled myself without knowing it?
Wait, what? I meant I have a Google Pixel which uses USB-C to charge. I want headphones (over the ear, specifically) that charge using USB-C instead of microUSB so I don’t have to carry around a USB-C to microUSB just for the headphones.
Oh wow, launched very recently. I hadn’t seen those. But good lord $400?!?
Are you joking? It is the LEAST noticeable on the PSVR because of their subpixel matrix. This is widely known.
