I kind of like it, yes it's CGI and yes it is 3D but it also kept that 2D charm, their bodies are not 3D translations of the original ones, they look just like the 2D ones but with a little more deepness which i like.

Honestly, I wish all high towers were interconnected at some levels, so you could create a city on multiple levels without the need to set foot on the ground level if you choose not to.
