One of my biggest complaints about Android is that you have to give an app blanket permissions for everything the app MIGHT do. Google’s response was that selective permissions would crash many apps that assumed they had the permission. However, it’s not too hard for an app to check it has a permission, or an OS to

I can’t speak for Philly, but the Seattle bikeshare kiosks have helmets.

They should start calling it the 335iworkedalittleharderthanyoudid

All these boxer-briefs are too constricting. Is there no love for the normal boxer with an elastic waistband? One of the best things to come out of the 90's!

Watching the sun evolve is much more interesting than the size of the rectangle.

Is this going to be the next Expendables?

Welcome to the near future, where a device that can play anything only plays one thing. We've come so far.

It seems like if you want to be young and different that you have to incorporate ski goggles. It's kind of like drunks and shopping carts.

I just like to have options.

I think you also touched on the reason women appear to not like wagons. Because if you need a bigger car for kids:

What, no sound?

I've been paying for streaming music for a long, long time, and I've been on Google's plan for a while now. The upload feature is their killer feature, and it's kept me away from Spotify. However, I still think Pandora is the best at recommendations or just playing music you like.

We have a VOIP line. I find it useful to have a phone around for kids, babysitters, having one number for the house, etc. Free long distance, no tracking minutes used, etc.

I use it to backup the pictures off my phone. I turned off the google auto-backup stuff. My only complaint is their Android app doesn't have an option to sync only when being charged. Otherwise I fear that it will drain my battery.

Very impressive. Open Source software lends itself really well to ideas that have been around for a while. Total props to Google Maps to innovating the game (and MapQuest before it), but there are only so many overlays you can add. The latest update (desktop) seems to have lost focus and has been horrible. I'm

I bought this pencil sharpener a few years ago. Everyone made fun of me, but I've gotten a lot of compliments and it sits well on my desk. Yes, I have a small pencil collection I use at my desk too.

I ordered a custom couch from Ikea back in 2000. I'm not sure if they do it anymore, but it was made from real wood and took about 7 weeks to arrive. It's still in our living room, surviving 4 moves (2 x-country). It's a little faded, but still in great condition. I wish I hadn't got the sleeper-bed, it's heavy.

I does seem like their dressers just can't stand up to the test of time. I'm not a structural engineer, but I think it's the thin back that eventually can't handle the sideways-force (shear?) of moving around from time to time.
