To a point, that’s true. However, I don’t think that’s why this happened for Hunger Games. Many people were unhappy about the split. And Hunger Games was in most theaters at regular times.

It seems like it would be hard to measure. There would have to be guessing on who would have gone to another film if Star Wars wasn’t there versus people like me who rarely go to the theater.
