They can refuse UN-rolled coins for payment. If you roll the coins just about anyone will take them as payment. Not so with a "bucket" of coins.
I never had a problem with it until I hit a snow bank at about 30mph. It tore off and I left it as a sacrifice to the snow gods. I also got to like it without so I painted all exposed metal flat black and called it a day.
