Yesterday I asked you to vote for New Zealand’s flag and gave you no context (as I was certain I’d give away my preferences). Some of you had really interesting questions and observations, which I’ll try to address.

I was talking to my 6-year old about her friends at school. She said she spends a lot of time with Ben. I was under the impression Ben didn’t have a lot of friends: He is a bit awkward, he wears thick glasses, he’s a bit kooky and he lived in another country until a year or so ago so he has a strong accent.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that whenever anyone starts a story with the words “unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know” you really want to know, you know? If you don’t know, you have missed something that is “trending”. Missing something that is “trending” is #bad.
