I don’t see how this is useful at all. A device with a smaller battery will likely charge to 100% faster, but it’ll also run down faster and need to be plugged in again sooner.

When I launch this app, my choices are: Chili’s 4 miles away, Chili’s 7 miles away, Chili’s 12 miles away, etc.

This is yet another reason why I don’t run Windows.

It’s still pretty warm, but as has been repeated by several folks, the heat loss is logarithmic. You lose a lot more heat at 160 degrees than at 140 degrees, and even less at 120 degrees. So if you have it set at 160, and you turn it off all day and come back and find it at 120 degrees, that’s still “pretty warm” but

“I must be missing something, as long as I’m not using any hot water, my water heater stays off for hours.”

While I certainly wouldn’t disagree with this point if you were on un-chlorinated well water, as long as your water is properly chlorinated the risk here is extremly low at 120 degrees F. Our own U.S. Dept of Energy recommends 120 degrees, in fact, citing the risk of bacteria growth to be quite low at 120 degrees:

You are correct, thermal interia is a thing, but it’s hard to understand what you’re claiming it is here.

This “myth” keeps popping up, both for water heaters and air conditioning/furnance topics...

Yeah I know, but it does take it a while to get back up to it’s set temperature, I’ve noticed. So even though it’s still “pretty warm” it still takes a while to get warmed up, and I want to have some buffer time in case I wake up a little earlier, etc.

The best thing to do with the water heater is adjust the temperature. Every water heater has a thermostat and you can adjust the temperature at which it maintains the water.

These are hybrids, which are charged from the engine rather than an outlet. So I’m not sure I understand why electrical cost would be a factor here at all.

So I see this thing in the picture. The label appears to say ATMOR but none of the deals look like or mention this thing, what is it?

"When you open up an email with tracking pixels, the sender will get information back that you opened it, whether you clicked a link, where you are, and what sort of device you're on."

"think your scenario is highly specific. I mean, I don't think you are wrong in the sense that many people would like a 10k capable ED, but I don't think its their primary concern."

I agree about the "best in class" point, but I disagree with the "ram went down the "enough for work, but more efficient"" point. And maybe it's just me, but I'm certainly in the class of people who currently own a 3/4 ton truck and would love to downsize to a 1/2 ton.

Which one do you have? I have the Ryobi weed eater and I use the Ryobu 18 volt Lithium batteries which last forever. Plus I have spares of those as well because the same batteries go in my drill and several other portable tools as well.

This is exactly why I opted for a battery powered mower. Absolutely zero maintenance outside of sharpening the blade occasionally. (Which I have yet to need to do in the 5 years I've owned it)

I've tried it, and it doesn't.

Since we're nominating cell phone mounts... I'm sorry, but I don't think you can beat Air Dock.
