Much older. First read the term on 4chan back in 2010.
I assumed it had to do with the same thing.
As we all know, Phil personally goes through every asset for the game to give his corporate approval.
I like the cheesy story and acting, the characters are fun, and the combat is a ton of fun with upper level mods and exotic armor that make switching up your class a ton of fun. Crank the difficulty up and playing trickster on WT12+ feels like I’m playing 3rd person Doom.
Same, I can’t wait to hop back in.
Yeah, but then you get it and its great. I’m all for difficult stuff in games that are beaten with the player doing something and not just a character’s ability.
I mean, it marks it specifically as a raid on the map. Why *wouldn’t* you roll up on your boat and charge at the shore while blowing your war horn?

Took about 4 days total to get my Series X after ordering on a Friday.

$10 would be ok for me if its close-ish to the size of the game. I have game pass but I think its $20 retail and it feels like a $20 game.
If you’re not interested in the gameplay, why would you buy each iteration until you got to the more action-rpglike ones? You can skip right to Origins now.
I don’t think that’s been a thing since maybe Unity, definitely Syndicate.
The conceit of the entire AC series is that you’re reliving someone’s memories, Odyssey being one that gives you a little more leeway in deciding what the ancient person in question did.
You also misinterpreted the story. Darius does not have “magic assassin blood,” nor does his son/daughter. They are human, you are a…
A bit of overlap perhaps, ish, but they don’t play remotely the same.
Agreed. I love being a flying, mechanized wizard firing guns, shooting out lightning, and calling down massive firestorms. The whole priming enemies then finishing them off (can’t remember the word they used) with my secondary ability was sick as well.
I think it’ll be closer to that. Ismail is even very careful to say: “Early in the experience, Eivor will learn a technique that, with the right timing ... can one-shot-kill virtually anybody.”
SoT is not even remotely close to a BR, from Adventure to Arena (both iterations). I disagree it could be seen as a safe bet, if anything they pushed it out before the future had been properly mapped making it less of a release and more “you need to get this out now before we lose any more money.”
Sea of Thieves released in 2018. Black Flag came out in 2013. It’s a bit of a stretch to say Black Flag influenced the market for 5 years, particularly when 2018 is when BR was beginning its dominance of the market that continues today. Moreover, the style of game and its production hardly makes it a safe bet which is…
What? In what manner did MS play the safe bets? Sea of Thieves was hardly a safe bet, and they’ve been letting their first party studios do pretty much whatever they want, including games like Gears Tactics. How is a squad-based strategy game based on the popular-yet-nichey Xcom from the series that brought you…
