So a bartender is opening up at like 4PM, so the whole place is dead, and a guy walks in. He’s got a suit that could feed a family of four for a decade, and it’s on a body that would put Michael Phelps to shame, and he’s also got a red balloon for a head.

Having seen the original, I think I’ll skip this one for a few years/decade and have good unseen Gyllenhaal material. Which is a nice thing to have.

He hasn’t once remembered my birthday.

The Legends trilogy (books 4-6 in release order) were amazing, to date my favourite books in the Dragonlance series. I had to skim the author list to see what other books in the franchise they wrote and there’s surprisingly few. Of those, Summer Flame is the only one I think I’ve read. I didn’t even know the Lost

He’s exaggerating the situation to make the authors look unreasonable, but you can read here about what appears to have been the case:

Welp, I guess I’ll be re-reading the original Dragonlance trilogy this weekend!

I have to stop. Writing bad things about Mystery Men is too easy, which I wish that wasn’t the case. I wish watching the film again revealed something new, something interesting, something fun. But it did not. Instead, I was left enraged that this film, with this level of talent, turned out as poorly as it did.

Seriously, she is the best character in Borderlands 2 which is saying something considering how good that game was.

Is it weird that I played Borderlands games solo? They’re ostensibly coop games but they might be the only ones I found enjoyable as single player games.

I will concede that she is a lesser version in 3 and was way more interesting in 2 but Tina is the best.

My Cowboy Bebop essay:

You have no actual experience or knowledge of his relationship with his ex-wife and commenting on it as you though you know the inner workings is extermely weird behaviour.

It’s pretty easy for you to judge and dismiss things from where you’re positioned in this parasocial relationship. While certainly not as damaging as an addiction to cocaine, parasocial relationships and sitting so far stop a high horse in judgment of complete strangers are unhealthy and, in their own way, addictive

Yeah, let’s stop sitting indoors and staring at screens, get out of the house and go to a building where you pay twelve bucks to sit indoors and stare at a screen. But now you’re surrounded by strangers, you can’t pause the movie, and all the food costs $30. This is better, we promise.

Its a complete joke that many of these actors like to pretend they didn’t know what was going on with Weinstein. Clooney, Damon, Tarantino all knew what he was doing and turned a blind eye to it. Clooney and Damon really churn my stomach because they are the first ones to tell us normal people how we should be

Immortal Hulk is one of the finest comics ever published, period.

For a substantial segment of the population, the drawbacks of seeing a movie in the theater outweighed the advantages, pre-pandemic. First of all about 10 years ago I stopped going to any theater at all where I couldn’t reserve seats. Then there’s travel, cost, the random chance that someone sitting near me is some
