Too many of them still don’t get that “Republicans” doesn’t mean “nice business friendly types” these days, it means racist nutbag enabling science-denying bible-banging fanatics. Even if the front guy puts a nice friendly presentable face to it, that’s whose really getting enabled and being given access to the levers

No, the government stole furnishing and valuables from Jewish familes as they evicted them and closed down businesses.

I just wish Syria would shut up already about its goddamn deep dish pizza.

The GOP candidate in Virginia (Gillespie) is a disgusting turd.

“I’ve lived in a lot of countries where conspiracy theories abound because people feel like they lack self-determination,” a recently retired Foreign Service officer told reporter Jason Zengerle. “And a great many people inside State are now hypothesizing about what the goal of all this is. Why are they firing people

In the normal world you would be right, but this Tweet is exactly his gameplan. Blame the Democrats for the death of Obamacare. His base will eat it up. You can show video of him signing the EO all day long. They couldn’t care less.

Right with you. I had no insurance without “Obamacare”. My meds cost over $500 a month.

Some talking head made the excellent point that he can call it ObamaCare all he wants, but he now owns it completely, and it’s failure will be attributed to him and not Obama.

FAKE GENITALS!!

I find this article poorly-written written. Even medical opinion for adults is different than for infants, not to mention a few other things in the article. Stick to the facts reporter instead of attacking homeopathy.

Sorry, I misread. Apologies on my behalf here >.<

Okay, but these spacer beads aren’t in existence because of a lack of oversight or laws protecting homeopathy. They can be used in any cheap jewelry, and it should be obvious that the majority of people aren’t buying jewelry for homeopathic reasons. We need tighter regulations on products like these, which are

Odds are pretty good the hematite was actually “hemalike”, which is ground up hematite mixed with resin. It’s dirt cheap because they make it from the scraps left over from more expensive stones or the crap that’s too flawed to cut.

I would bet it is referred to that way because the parents referred to it as such and it was likely sold to them under that title. “Homeopathic” is used pretty loosely outside of circles where people are specifically tracking nonsense related to it- it’s often used in ways that overlap with BS like “naturopathic” etc

There are so any jerks giving homeopathy a bad name including the reporter who needs to understand exactly what homeopathy is and what is quackery. This “bracelet” ain’thomeopathy just because an asshole says so. Homeopathy actually is way safer than “modern medicine” that has so many harmful side effects that it is

Such small feet. How do you even walk?

Uh no, not at all. The bead spacers can be found anywhere....they’re not protected under anything related to homeopathy. It’s literally cheap, mass produced jewelry accessories. That’s it. That’s where the issue lies.

Reading the title, I suspected Galena (PbS) to be mistaken for Hematite (Fe2O3), as they look pretty similar.

Title should be “CDC Finds Lead Poisoning in Child Who Wore Contaminated Bracelet.” I get that it’s cool and all to shit on homeopathy, but at least shit on it where it makes sense. The spacer beads were contaminated, not the crystal ones. What shitty reporting.
