Acting is different activity than merely existing. There is a reason nobody would watch an “average person acting in typically average ways” - it would boring as hell. Just like most of Bautista’s performances are.

I truly, truly cannot stand any of Bautista’s performances. Totally wooden. I can acknowledge that some of it may be superficial, as his swollen face prevents an nuanced physical communication, and his overall presence is distracting.
Have you seen who is allowed to post on YouTube?
I think they are properly referred to as “LeakyDicks”
“Really, at no point did I get the sense Harper was attracted to Cameron - she’s clearly doing this purely to punish Ethan and also, maybe mostly, herself. It’s full on drunken self-loathing trashing about self-destruction.”
I would say that their interaction in the ocean showed at least a little spark/curiosity on her…
“he continues to be terribly passive aggressive to her at best gaslight her at worst because of the bro code and his own inability to be a mature grown up”
There’s no gaslighting going on. “Doing drugs with hookers” is not - even for people who found them in a situation in which SOMEONE ELSE initiated the whole thing -…
“where she thought Albie’s the type of guy she’s supposed to want, and made herself go along with it for a while, not being honest that she just wasn’t feeling it. He just seemed liked too good an opportunity to pass up. So that’s the mortal sin here, opportunism, complacency, lack of self awareness, lack of honesty.”

“Lucia and Mia would try to fleece Tanya dry if they were in the same position which is something Portia doesn’t even think about doing. She wouldn’t know how even if she wanted to. That’s that awkward insecurity and immaturity and lack of agency.”
Wait - you’re saying that if she was confident and mature, she would be…
On Saturday, all three kids were excited to see it so I went to Disney+ expecting to pay $20 or $30 or whatever they charge when they stream stuff when it’s also in theaters, but... it wasn’t available. I realize I could have researched it beforehand, but dinner had been made and they were in their PJs, so we weren’t…
Oh man, sad to not see my favorite original not on here: Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota!
She seemed pretty unhappy and is a shitty boss to the staff. I didn’t find any of her lines funny, but I guess some of that may have been the result of her accent throwing some of the comedic timing off.
Or even Greg has been married all along and seduced Tanya. Tanya (or her assistant) murder him.
I did not find anything enjoyable about the hotel manager (or any of the hotel’s staff for that matter). In the first season, it seems like they wrote it in a way that encouraged you to root for the staff (even when Murray was doing despicable shit, literally), but in this first episode it seems like the writing is…
If you go east from Sicily for long enough, you’ll hit the Iberian peninsula and then the western coast of Sicily.
(But to be fair, there was a long part of history where the term Moors was used to mean Muslins in general).
I think the themes explored will be disassociation, disconnectedness and failures to communicate.
Wackiness ensues.
Definitely agree.
Yes, but that doesn’t mean she’s not miserable and a drag to be around. She is so tightly wound she does not even know how to relax even when alone with her husband. My guess is that one of the plot lines will be her learning to take the stick out of her ass (possibly via Cameron putting his stick in her ass). It…
Miles was surprisingly great as Peyton.
obviously.
The average person 200-250 words perminute, which puts it to about 2 minutes per page. For a 300 page book, that’s 600 minutes, or 10 hours. I do not know many people that have 10 hours to free read in a week.
