That’s what people already do in countries that are hot as hell. Half of my last trip to Manila was spent in malls because that’s the only place people wanted to hang out during the day.

I had the same reaction to season 1. Hoped season 2 would pull me in, but no, I didn’t find it compelling at all. I’d rather watch some over the top vampire insanity like JoJo’s than this (and JoJo’s is way off what I normally like).

I muddled through the first season, barely feeling the drive to pay attention., tried to watch the second, hoping something would grab me and make me want to go back, but finally gave up the ghost around episode 3.

    Twist: There was no Jean.

Would anyone even be able to prove how or why the data was deleted?

Couldn’t tell you the brand, but my previous boss had hearing aids with a connected app where he could fine tune frequency response at least 4 years ago.

While, yes, we should have a human vaccine (again), remember that part of the reason pets have certain monthly medicines to guard against ticks is that they don’t live long enough to develop cancers from the ‘toxic’ chemicals in the treatment.

What "true benefit to society" does alcohol have?

A lot of companies do this. I know, I worked for one.

Different environments have different childcare needs.

That’s why I thought easy fair use to start. The percentage of the whole work is so minimal, the transformative argument becomes even less necessary. Then I realized the “average” (modern) viewer probably wouldn’t even recognize the original work, and it might fall under de minimis.

Probably de minimis defense without even needing to hear an argument for transformation, so maybe not even fair use.

Don’t these just come with every new F250 purchase?

    Arguably fair use

Many years ago, one of my Geotech friends, ok’d someone to cut deep into a street and ended up severing a gigantic fiber line. Bye-bye internet to half the state. Somehow not yet on the permanent record, and this wasn’t even in a big city.

NY (especially Manhattan) is like the wild west underground from what I’ve

Which part of the penal code determines mass shooters as de facto ‘terrorists’?

I searched as best I could, but could only find 19th century references to gangs, while the more recent codes defining threats used to include the word ‘terrorist,’ but have since been changed to ‘criminal.’

Jeez. What the hell are my great grand kids going to be doing with my 21st century digital footprint?

I think the comment was in response to other comments dissecting McCarthy’s career ambitions.

People seem to forget that a huge number of Hollywood productions are made simply because they’ll turn some profit, and employ a lot workers (from top of the chain to the bottom). Viewers are the ones with an outsized emotional investment in the productions and their stars.

Most of the people that work in production

Do any of these modern zombie flicks address how long the monsters stay agile and alert well after they’ve consumed all living flesh???
