It’s like catching up with a friend from college who now has 3 kids, no sleep and drinks Michelob Ultra once a month to “loosen up”. Subaru, what happened friend?

I kind of lost it at this:

Id rather we address that before a car has a trolly problem to solve. This is my whole problem with the AV situation, it’s far too soon for public testing. And I’m not convinced public testing is even needed. Train the AI before it gets behind the wheel, while also working on the legislative and legal framework.

This - especially if we end up with a situation in which the car chooses to (somehow - still too tired to think up a scenario) kill the driver / occupant over someone else. You’ll never see an AV without overrides / a steering wheel if this would happen.

Tylenol? Right after heavy drinking? Sounds like a straight ticket to the ER... Use Ibu or Aspirin.

$77,000?

Those power options don’t actually cost that much. Those are required to be competitive these days because the electronics to make those are so cheap now. Cutthroat competition between makes have caused profit margins to be razor thin on economy cars. The rest is just inflation and safety equipment. I have no problem

We live in a strange place don’t we. My SR swapped 240 that got better mileage than my factory KA probably put out the same amount of pollutants but according to CA its evil because it was never sold here.

Time to stop living in denali.

This man tells you he didn’t roll back the odometer. Do you trust him? I do not trust him.

The composite bed is my favorite thing about tacomas and ridgelines. Its an amazing idea. When I shovel mulch/dirt/gravel out of my bed, I am not going to be careful, no matter what the surface is underneath. At least with composite, I wouldn’t touch up my bedliner once a year.

While not carbon fiber, Tacomas have had composite beds since 2005.

It’s actually going to be paired to a CVT.

My guess: The axles being locked to each other means that the system has more rotational inertia and thus resists locking up. Even if the front wheels want to lock up, the rear wheels which aren’t receiving as much brake are still providing momentum. It’s like putting weaker brakes on the front (or heavier wheels) in

Future? It’s the present!

If we don’t see a blue wave in November, if we even make it that far, we are witnesses to the collapse of western civilization.

I saw a lot of dudes smoke their way into bad grades and out of university.

Now playing

False. Here was my 2010 C63. Stock and not stock.

Don’t forget the typical crappy dealer experience. Especially at the ones that also push Buick and GMC.

Don’t make it a Mustang. It would be horrible if C&C spectators had absolutely no warning as to what was coming up on them sideways.
