I don’t hate Hillary, but I also don’t vote for her (three times running). Here are some reasons: (1) ran for Senate in a state she where wasn’t a resident while her husband was the sitting president (a man I prefer not to see anymore, but would inevitably have to if she were prez); (2) voted for use of force in Iraq

What offends you about Sanders’ comments? I just read the article and thought he was spot-on. Trump broke through politically correct speech taboos, and millions of people loved it. Clinton, on the other hand, was focus-group tested, and people could see right through it. She even co-opted Bernie’s free college

This kind of stuff does happen in community colleges across America. A logger friend of mine retrained in the 90's to be an electrician; another retrained to be an OTA; another an ESL teacher. It does happen, and it’s not as expensive as some might have you believe. CC’s are relatively cheap and good at what they

Bernie ignores women’s and minorities’ rights. I’ve never heard that before. Could you explain?

$1T in infrastructure improvement is exactly what Trump is suggesting. He’s catching hell from every direction...not sure why.

In one of the debates Hillary promised that she would continue the war against ISIS for at least another year while increasing international surveillance, “to vacuum up every bit of data we can.” Not exactly what this voter wanted to hear, nor even close to what Democrats used to stand for. No? More war, more

And in Australia voting is mandatory.

Trump’s a one-off. But, the lesson might be to “Be authentic.” If you’re a jerk, embrace it! Even the villains in pro wrestling win occasionally.

Carter, Clinton and Obama were all relatively new faces. Could have something to do with it. W and Trump, too, are not really Washington insiders (like Gore & HRC).

Coal, no. Not unless the natural gas/fracking runs dry. But, steel? Why can’t it be brought back to American manufacturers?

There was only one non-white in the race, and he wasn’t on Hillary’s ticket. Clinton/Booker...now that would’ve been interesting.

Republicans didn’t just fall in line behind Trump, there was all sorts of drama. Did you watch Ted Cruz’s speech at the convention? Dude talked for 20 minutes and never endorsed the nominee! LOL. Most, but not all, eventually succumbed to the inevitable, as establishment Dems would, IMO.

Just for fun: What do you consider Trump’s three biggest lies?

Ad buys are way overrated, IMO. Don’t think I’ve ever had my mind changed on a candidate due to a TV commercial. If anything, they’re more likely to turn me off a candidate due to being annoying.

Perhaps if Hill would’ve spent a few dozen nights in Holiday Inns while on the campaign trail...But, like Trump, she preferred the comforts of her beautiful home.

Visited my parents in WNY during August; they were getting at least two robocalls a day (in a state that wasn’t even competitive). They were way past answering any phone call about the election. Way past.

And the skin color/sexual orientation of the workers who didn’t listen to your friend is relevant because...?

Not saying voter purges don’t happen, but are they really occurring “at the last moment?” I’m willing to read a linked article if you provide one. From what I’ve read, people are informed by mail well beforehand and must clear up any confusion as to why their name might appear on the rolls in multiple states, etc.

Hillary’s strongest moment of the campaign was assuring allies during a debate that we will honor our responsibilities.

“Race over gender”? How about America and humankind over race or gender! That’s not a statement for any particular candidate, just a recoiling from the idea that people would vote strictly due to their skin tone or genitalia.
