Yeah just don’t overdo it! Editing is great but try not to max out any single slider. Have fun with it!

Thanks! I’ve been contributing to Jalopnik for years now under JBH but Raph made me change it for that one.

Thanks! This is a composite made of I think 7 or 8 different exposures and make everything play nice in photoshop. I used one Flashpoint Xplor 600 with a bare bulb to create both of these. The light emanating from behind the car was just two strobe pops low and behind the car to get the drama.

Look for Chiron stuff on CoolHunting soon. My buddy and former Oppo regular Andrew Maness (TheRoadLessDriven) is writing it up and using my shots.

Nice! I’ve never had the space or tools to do my own mechanical work but I’m hoping to change that in the next few years.

Hey! I bought myself a stripped/caged e36 M3 at the beginning of 2019. And I’ve got an i3. Perfect LA two car garage (if I had a two car garage).

I used to use a Nikon D810 for work and I loved it. My general rule is to invest in good glass before upgrading bodies.

Just get her a used basic DSLR off CL. As others have mentioned, she will need the ability to manually control the shutter and aperture to actually learn anything.

Not that big of a deal for someone like Mata who works from home and only really stretches the 911s legs on early mornings and evenings.
