While there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being critical of a film, there’s a marked difference between being critical in a thoughtful way and raging simply because the heroes in the latest movie are portrayed by black folks.

This is why diversity and representation are important for everyone and not just marginalized groups. Kids like that grow up knowing that ‘different’ does not equal ‘bad’.

It’s insane that kids are allowed/forced to take extreme measures to make weight. College, pro, whatever...they’re adults. Still shouldn’t be allowed but whatever. My high school buddies should not have been allowed to do the things they did to their bodies.

I thought the film was brilliant but I can understand it not being for everyone. At least your reasons for not liking it are rational and not the usual “SHIT WAS GAY”, so no need to feel like their not valid.
