Actually the Modern Warfare campaigns were really good. "No Russian" from MW2 grabbed a lot of media attention that other games are still trying to imitate. On average the 5-7 hour campaign in each game is filled with lots of action and spectacular moments.

Agreed. There were a few good maps in each but Modern Warfare 2 had far superior maps so far in the series. IMO, I don't think there was bad map in that game. I wish I could play with the new perks and streaks on those previous maps.

You're not doing it right if you are buying from Gamestop and are only getting $5 off. They have the 10% off card, which is free plus the buy two get one free. They also have online deals to get an extra 30% off plus the 10% off with your card. Printable coupons for an extra 10% or more off. They also have trade in 2

A handful of companies have dropped the online pass based on consumer feedback. Yet there's a handful of gamers that still support their existence. I don't get it.

What is this? A trope?

Don't forget about licensing. Action figures, t-shirts, movies, books, soundtracks....

It'll be short lived. In one month COD will have 25% of the top 20 games played on Xbox live. Pretty impressive that 4 and 5 year old games are still among the most played.

They used the bedding to wrap up all the items then walk out.

OH My LANTA!

If I donate to this and they get sued by Nintendo, Capcom, Valve, or whoever, what will I be left with? What parties have they obtained licenses from?

That's not a metonymy and your argument is false.

A weapon may serve a purpose. It does not have one of it's own.

It's kind of like jumping the walls on Mario Kart 64 on Warios track to win or get the best time. I agree this is lame... If you're going to do a speed run then do it within the defined rules of the game, not the exploits or glitches.

Not impressed. The pieces aren't falling... They instantly hit the bottom and he is moving them and rotating them as needed.

hrm....

This is the only intelligent argument opposing this situation in this entire thread.

Just Cause 2 is a terrible game and you can get brand new copies off ebay for < $20.

Do you think this is from anyone with an ounce of intelligence?

"...if GameStop sells them 'used' then GameStop receives all the profits."

This is nothing new and has been done by many companies in the past. There's nothing shady about it. I actually look forward to picking one of these up. It's excellent quality and undercuts the the prices on ebay and ensures I don't receive an over priced low quality product.
