Calling all Truck Opponauts
Last month an on demand scooter rental company launched in Pittsburgh. I know other cities like San Francisco and probably places in Europe and Asia already have these, but these are awesome for a place like Pittsburgh that has terrible public transportation and crazy geography.
So I was sitting in traffic the other day when I saw they were working on replacing this awning on a building near my house. I noticed the old paint underneath and thought “cool” since I am a bit of a vintage junkie and love old brick painted ads.
I woke up this morning to find this post on my reddit front page, currently it has almost 10k in upvotes. Like many others, I was fully prepared for an awesome feel good story about someone inheriting a couple of cool old cars. I soon came to find a The Chive like hoax, but with even less evidence to support it.
