Tesla really knocked it out of the park with the design of the Model S, but the X is a prime example of a bad engineering principle: overly complicated solution to a small problem (getting into the third row). By this point, traditional doors would’ve meant no production issues, no frustrating performance, and less of…
Keep in mind that your kinetic energy goes as the square of speed, so at 74 mph, you have 130% as much energy as going at 65 mph... Pretty significant difference.
I really hope the Xbox One version supports the Kinect like the 360 version did
How about Netflix gives up all the seasons of old (new) Top Gear. Only seasons 18 on are currently available.
Sigh... I usually love Gizmodo, but this is not the first time I’ve completely disagreed with Alissa Walker’s articles. Is there a way (no matter how), to block her articles (and only hers) from appearing on my feed?
Yup, I agree with that. Phones have gotten much cheaper in the last 2 years, and I’m glad OEMs are going with direct sales. Samsung and Apple seem to be the last holdouts.
that’s not the main reason actually. For one, the market in general wants the thinnest phone possible, and non removable batteries allows thinner phones. Phones with non removable batteries are also cheaper to manufacture.
unfortunately, I think removable batteries are gone for good. Maybe the LG G5 will have one, but I’m expecting it not to.
This sounds dumb.
How do the engines compare though? I don’t like the VQ engine from the 350z. It’s such a dog.
that’s exactly what I thought. what great journalism here at jalopnik. they only mention cars have been added, but don’t bother to state which ones or offer a link on which to find the information.
For $70k, I’d rather look for a used Cayenne.
Something I wonder about all these vehicles with start/stop systems: doesn’t it end up killing the starter motor much more quickly since you’re gone from starting your ending 3-4 times a day to maybe ~100?
this is the biggest lie I’ve ever read on Jalopnik
Wish they’d also done this test with sticky summer tires (like I drive on all year long)
yup, sounds like the safety crash feature is an upgrade.
Is onstar not free for 2 years when you buy a new car? I thought it was free for some time, then a monthly fee kicked in
I cannot wait for the FTC to start going after all these models for deceptive advertisement. The have to clearly state that a post is an ad/sponsored content.
Unfortunately, it seems like by now all flagships are at least 5". If you absolutely want something smaller than 5", then your only alternative is to get a z5c and flash a ROM on it (Sony is cool with letting you unlock the bootloader and won’t void your warranty for it). CM is pretty close to pure android.
Why does it matter if Harris isn’t funny? His youtube vids are excellently produced and all his columns are well written. I feel I’m the only one who’s excited for this new version of Top Gear in addition to Gear Knobs
