Bring on the hate, I f***** loved FF-8. I loved the story as a kid, and honestly the writing (save for Squall 99% of the time) is actually tolerable 13 years later and aged much better than FF7 did. I for one loved the entire system and would much rather see this structure again any day versus the sphere system.
