Good grief, props to the set design. That was exceptional. No Orange Julius or Cinnabon kind of shattered the verisimilitude but hey we’ll let that go.

The thrift shops around here like Goodwill and Salvation Army caught on the to the vintage tee shirt craze. So old concert and Harley Davidson tees, among others, are typically priced significantly higher.

A lot of thrift shops do have "boutique" sections now with higher priced specialty items. You'll be shocked to hear that the same people complain about that too.

This is a brilliant analysis. It absolutely had the unhinged characteristics of the later seasons of Sunny but still grounded in enough reality to stay funny. It was kind of like Atlanta but less surreal and more comedy focused.

That was exactly what I said in my petition letter to add Arli$$ to HBO Max.

But where can I see Rachel Bloom now? I need answers to this.

I have borderline personality traits disorder (BPD) much like Rebecca Bunch had on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (the “my diagnosis” episode) That song where randomly Josh Groban was sneaking up on her singing backup on a dark street. I love this woman. The things

I think the Myspace reference was intentionally long in the tooth, as it was an adult who hit him with his car and asked them if they were on Myspace, showing he was out of the loop.

they lucked out and basically made the very last possible one before smartphone and social media ubiquity would instantly date it and the problems. the myspace reference, even at the time, was already long in the tooth.

Maybe she was up for the Brad Pitt part, just thinking of the ending. Because that would make more sense I think than her playing the Helena Bonham Carter part.

Her name is Roberta Paulson!

“There are going to be many tough conversations in the future,” one studio publicist tells Variety, who asked to remain anonymous. “Our bosses and clients will expect us to go out and get Ed Norton and think that’s all it will take. they weirdly have similar energy now that you say it, and now I want this made.

If they could somehow merge the Madonna tour with The Rehearsal, we would never need another piece of entertainment ever again.

There’s never really any explanation given in-game for the abscence of Joel’s wife / Sarah’s mom. She just isn’t there.

I feel like Soderbergh used her best in Haywire, she was still fairly wooden but he leaned into her impressive physicality more than her acting, and let the rest of the cast do the acting.
