Out of the total US population of some 325 million people around 2.3 million are of Korean descent. Of course they don’t hold the vast majority of social, political, and economic power. On the whole, Koreans do pretty damn good in this country.

I’m with you. We make the CT to OBX run every year and do the vast majority of it on day 1. Then leave a short drive in the AM (like 2 hours) to get a full day in.
