This is true but there are so many examples of devs making bank off cosmetic microtransactions. Why do some try to go full out with things that actually impact gameplay? Just look at LoL or Overwatch. Even destiny 2 is fine besides the hidden XP mechanic which itself makes sense just not the fact it was hidden

It’s painfully obvious. It’s all for PvP balancing, they wanted to get rid of the shottys and snipers in PvP. It completely makes them useless in pve though since they’re like never better than a rocket launcher, sword, or merciless. Same reason for the slow ass cooldowns. They really need separate balancing

What was happening was running public events in a row would decrease the xp you get but the game would still display the full amount. Let’s say a PE is worth 500 xp. Every PE says it gives you 500xp on the screen but…
